Max Gets a Little Sister

A quick happy update on a boy a lot of you already know.
Max — the little white-and-tabby we took in a while back, the one who came to us feral and took some real work to bring around — is doing wonderfully. He's grown into a beautiful cat, and he's settled into his forever home like he was always meant to be there.
And now he has a partner in crime. 😈
His family adopted a little sister named Lillie, and the two of them are growing up together — perched on the windowsill, watching the world go by, generally being adorable. Max went from a growly, bitey, scared little guy to a big brother. I love seeing that so much.
A huge thank-you to Janeane for sharing these beautiful shots with us. Updates like this are honestly the fuel for all of this — proof that the hard early days (and Max had some hard early days) turn into this. Look at them.
