Emergency medical fund
The Gus Fund
Gus came to us with an eye that couldn't be saved. By the time he was in our arms, the damage was already done — and the only thing standing between him and a life of pain was a surgery nobody had budgeted for. We said yes anyway. We always say yes anyway.
That's what the Gus Fund is for. It's our dedicated medical fund, set aside entirely for emergency vet care — the surgeries, the overnight stays, the eye removals and broken legs and mystery fevers that never wait for a convenient time. When a kitten needs help today, this is the money that answers the phone.
Named for the boy who started it, kept going for every one who comes next.
Monthly giving
Join the Calico Circle
The most powerful thing you can give a rescue is something predictable. A small monthly gift means we can say yes to a kitten before we've raised the money — instead of hoping a donation arrives in time.
$10/mo
= a week of litter
$25/mo
= one round of vaccines
$50/mo
= one spay/neuter
Set it up as a recurring gift through PayPal, or reach out and we'll help you arrange it.
